Wine tourism at Domaine de Mourchon visits to the cellar and winery

We encourage visitors to come up the hill to visit us in the tasting room where you can sample our range whilst we answer any questions you might have about how the wines are grown and made. We welcome unscheduled drop-in visits but are also happy to take reservations for larger groups or tours. Tastings are free although a charge may apply to larger groups and tours. Please check Google for seasonal changes to opening times.

Picnics at the winery

For those visitors who would like to take advantage of this remarkable site, we have created a panoramic terrace next to the tasting room so you can stay a little longer and enjoy the birds-eye views down towards the valley.

If you let us know at least 24hrs in advance we can prepare a delicious picnic which includes a selection of local produce, fresh bread and wine for 25€ per head.

Visit and tasting:
Every Wednesday in English
Every Tuesday in French

If your French is not as good as your English and you are not quite up to speed in the language of wine, why not join us for a tour and tasting in English of our beautiful vineyard and modern winery?

We start with a walk through our elevated vineyards so that you can enjoy the superb views whilst we explain how the wine is grown. Back at the winery we visit the cellar to look at how the wine is made before finishing with an informal tasting of our complete range.

From May to September, the tour starts every Wednesday in English at 5pm and lasts approximately 1.5 hours.

There is no charge and no reservation necessary unless for large groups.

Annexe products

As well as having over 12 wines and Armagnac to taste you can also sample some of our home-grown artisanal products. Using byproducts from the estate which are all made here onsite we have created a range of unique ‘extras’ which make great treats and gifts.
